Hi All! I don’t think I have ever used colored pencils in a video before! They are actually quite easy to use. I used PrismaColor pencils, which are very nice, rich pencils. I haven’t tried using ordinary colored pencils from Crayola – I don’t know how they would compare. Hi All! Do you like the polka dots? I wish I had time to do more – I’m kind of getting bored with the current design. The dots were an easy change, so I figured, why not? For the card this week, I wanted to try out using two different embossing powders on an image. I used both Wild Wasabi and White embossing powders on the butterflies. Kind of a neat look. Good morning! The stamp I used this week is actually a solid silhouette stamp – you know, the kind that is a shadow and stamps all one color. I saw this technique awhile back I think by Jennifer McGuire on Hero Arts, but I searched and couldn’t find it! I stamped the image in a very light color (Antique Linen), then used Copics over it.
