Hi All! I really don’t like to use my Copics on top of heat embossed images. The embossing powder gets on the tips of my markers. I did it in a video once, not realizing what I was doing. Hi All, Bringing you some more holiday cheer today! I made this card to give to the host of a Christmas party I am going to. Hosting a party is a lot of work!! Hi All! I’m really going to town on the Scentsational Season stamp set! I really love the variety in it. This week’s card is pretty simple but I added a few details to make it special. Specifically, the Copic shading and the liquid applique for my whipped cream. Hi All! I used one of my favorite stamps right now – the Penny Black Paisley Outline background. I like it because it’s a small print and not very detracting from your focal point. I stamped the butterfly right on it – it’s not a separate layer. I really like how this card turned out. One other thing I did a little differently is the card base. Hi All! The white panel of this card is all one layer. I added quite a bit of shadowing to the dog using Copic markers. Another interesting thing I did on this card was use Stampin’ Up! Classic inks on clear polymer stamps. I REALLY wanted to have Stampin’ Up! colors for my sentiments, but I always have trouble getting a clear image – the water-based Stampin’ Up! inks are repelled on the clear stamp, making it “ball up”.
