Peerless Dandelions

Hi All!

Today I’m using a stamp set from Stampin’ Up! that is NOT retiring, phew! It’s called Summer Silhouettes. I heat embossed the dandelions and then used my Peerless Watercolors to create the background.

If you’re interested in learning more about these watercolors and how I store them, you can view my tutorial HERE. And, if you’re interested in HAVING these watercolors, welcome to the giveaway!! 🙂

Hi, I just happen to ‘stumble’ on your tutorial today with this card. [looking for the penny spinner card]. I was surprised it was current so I thought I would give you a giant ‘thumbs up’ as I love this card. It has a very simple styling which I like and could be used for different occasions with a different sentiment wording. I make cards just for special occasions such as my grandkids’ birthdays & few others if time allots as right now I am unemployed. Thanks for your expert tutorials which help in card design. Blessings.

  13. Darlene,
You chose one of my favorite SU stamp sets! It’s very versatile, as your card demonstrates. I bought some Peerless paints recently at a stamp show in Allentown a couple of months ago and mounted them in an 11 x 14″ heavy paper book. It would be nice to have a portable pallette! They are really wonderful to use for cards and also just to experiment. I don’t have much education in this area, so I am learning slowly what looks good and what doesn’t.

i have been struggling with pneumonia (honestly, i don’t know where this came from) and ended up at the doctor’s yesterday for the second time in three weeks, so I haven’t been keeping up with my blog. i promised my DH i would REALLY rest to finally get this over & done (big sigh).

Please let me know when you need more cards for Rebecca. She sent a very sweet thank you note. i would love to make another one for her. Let me know.

    Happy Stamping (& Water coloring)!
    Linda
