Finish My Card Collaboration, Part 1

Finish my Card

Happy Monday All!!

This is my second post today. Scroll down or CLICK HERE to read some exciting Stampin’ Up! news.

A few weeks ago, Catherine Pooler contacted me about doing a “finish my card” collaboration. I am so excited and honored to work with her on this project! Here’s how it works…

We decided that each of us would create an embellishment with sentiment and snail-mail it to the other person (I’m in Texas and she is in North Carolina). We would then finish each other’s card by creating the base and background.

Today is part 1, where I create the embellishment and Catherine finishes the card. Part 2 will take place on Wednesday, when Catherine will create the embellishment and I will finish the card. I must say that this is kind of a challenging project when you are combining styles on a single card! I’m so excited to be doing this though – it’s good to get out of your comfort zone. 🙂

And believe it or not, as I post this, I have no idea what she’s done – I can’t wait to see!

Alright, so here we go with my creation of the embellishment. There will be a direct link to Catherine’s video at the end of my video, or you can scroll down below for a link to her blog post. Enjoy!

So are you ready to see what the finished card looks like? Me too! Head on over the Catherine’s Blog to see.
