Another great card! I have never even considered using a dauber for pigment ink! I also never would have thought to ink and emboss the edges of the card the way that you did! Very cool! I like how you cut the front side shorter so the “washi tape” shows. Thank you!

  3. You do the coolest – most informative videos. I like that you keep the project in view & don’t take anything out of camera view to work on. Also, you enunciate very clearly, explain very explicitly what you are doing during the whole process. Your cards are always beautiful. TFS & providing a lot of entertaining techniques.

I love this cute card for valentines. I need to purchase these stamps so I too create your awesome project! Thank you so much and I look forward to the next one!!

  5. LOVE this card, Darlene! Great embossed shiny pink (thanks for showing how you did that) and I like the stamped washi on the inside w/the trimmed outside. The jar turned out nice, too. I appreciate your videos and have learned lots. 😀

  6. I LOVE this card!!! I have been wanting to make something similar but had not found any heart candy stamps… until now 😉 I guess I will have to buy my 5th jar stamp set just to get those heart candies, lol! I can hear my husband now “how many jars do you need”, lol! I love that you used those Momento Luxe inks as well because I was wondering how good they were and wow the colors are very pretty! Plus you were able to emboss with them so that’s fantastic! Thanks so much for the awesome video! Oh one other thing, I’ve been told that Staz On ink is not good for clear stamps because it ruins the stamps, have you ever had a problem with that?

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Charity, I have heard the same thing about the Staz On, but not sure how true it is. I don’t use it often enough to say if it does.

  7. Pretty card. Love the shiny pink edge. Enjoying the extra videos you’re posting.

    wow…I love this card…so sweet…lol…on so many levels 🙂

  9. Such a pretty card…love those sets…now I’m going to have to get those…lol..the bow stamp that was in the washi tape set was lovely!!!

  10. Really like the shiny pink edge to the card and the cut showing faux Washi tape. Thanks for your good recommendations about organizational tips and products. I purchased the magnetic chipboards and have redone my die-cuts which were a mess into one neat card storage box. SO much easier to use – I did heavy tag board dividers as well as the name and manufacturer on each board. Really great way to organize the die-cuts. Thanks again!

  11. This is one absolutely STUNNING and super-cute card! I’ve never been one to love the clear stamps, but the more I see you using them, the more excited I get to give them another try! Thanks again for your tutorials – you remind me of the movie Ratatouille – where the motto of the chef is “anyone can cook.” When I watch your videos, I always think… “wow, anyone can make cards!” You make everything look so easy and attainable! Thank you!

  12. What a nice treat to get a Darlene card on a Monday!! Love your jar filled with love, so cute! Thanks for the tips on how to stamp and adhere the acetate sheets.

  13. Hi Darlene, I love your card. You always inspire me to keep stamping. I have used many of your techniques on some of my cards. I soooo love your cards. I look forward to seeing your Wednesday creations and so happy to see the card you created for today.

WOW!! what a treat to see you posting another fabulous video on a MONDAY!!!!! For a moment I kind of thought Monday and Tuesday were lost in the freezing, below 0 weather we’re having here in NW Indiana, sheeesh!! But, on to your sweet card, love it!!! It never occurred to me to stamp the jar image onto the acetate, I always stamped it on paper and then cut the jar but this is much better, it makes it look more real. I’m also inclined on purchasing some of those Memento Inks, they look so rich and apply so evenly. The little heart candy looks just adorable in those colors, thank you for all the fantastic ideas you put in my head, I have a lot of stamping time, there is no way I’m going out with this cold, cold temperatures.

  15. Teresa R. says:

Very sweet card. I believe you’ve finally convinced me to invest in some of the Momento Inks. They seem as though they have amazing coverage. 🙂

  16. Van Gryebet says:
