Great stencil to use for something like this. Love the idea of the alternating space on it. Love the colours as always and great tips once again. I am assuming this is very similar to texture paste?

I’m so glad you did a video on the embossing paste. I’ve watched several videos on this stuff and I’ve purchased my jar, but have yet had the nerve to give it a try. Maybe today will be the day! I’m feeling more confident today! Cute card. I love the details you give your cards. Thank you!

  9. Nice cards! TFS how you used the two-step stencils to create the textured flower. Love the look. 🙂

I love the look of this embossing paste, I need to get me some and give it a try. I love both cards Darlene, it’s so hard to pick a favorite, this looks really fabulous. I also love the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, I’ve been eyeing it since it came out but, to be honest, it didn’t really grab my attention until I started seeing lovely cards made with it. Thank you so much for another fantastic video, I love the fact that you introduce us to many techniques and products to help us expand our stamping and crafting horizons. Have a great rest of the week.

  16. Darlene,
Another stellar Wednesday. I have been thinking about using the paste, but have been a bit afraid to jump in. After seeing what you did, I think I will try it. Thanks for giving me the boost I needed. Counting the days until next Wednesday. Thanks again for sharing your talents.

  17. Two orders from the stores. Yikes. Have you considered sharing some of the items with us?

  18. Anna Jernigan says:

LOVE these cute cards! I am just freaked out that you are using Embossing Paste today, because, a friend and I who both watch your videos, were JUST talking about the pros and cons of using the paste, and BOOM! here you are using it just today in your Wednesday card! How weird is that? I always loved the look, she was more on the fence, but shhh, I think your gorgeous flower convinced her to maybe give it a try! Isn’t that a hoot?
I love both versions, can’t choose between each one, they are both soooo sweet!
BTW, thanks for helping me unknowingly convince a friend to try a new technique! How funny!
Missed ya, been busy here, but in a good way…………but, hopefully able to be at the computer more, and I have quite a few Wednesday Cards to catch up on. Sounds fun to me, with my cup o’ Joe, and watching and learning from Darlene, one of my fave’s………..thanks, for your fantastic videos!
    Have a great week!

  19. gorgeous as always! And, by the way, you have a very soothing voice… I could listen to your videos all day!
