Darlene, I have seen the stickers applied to the paper and then adding the glitter. Did you have a hard time getting the stickers to stick to the glitter? Just wondered. Love your videos!

  2. Where did u get your butterflies from?

  3. Darlene you make such great cards. I am such a big fan of yours. I also love the music you put to it. TFS Darlene, you go girl

Very pretty card! I bought stickers by Sakura and haven’t used them. After about a year
in the dark they will finally grace a card thanks to you Darlene! Mahalo for the perfect
inspiration! Keep up the great ideas!.

  5. Tried out your card idea with my Cameo (electronic paper cutter) software, and digital paper since I don’t have stamps, ink and the other items listed and it came out fabulous. This was my first card and I love it. Thank you for the idea and the simpleness of it especially as a newbie. I haven’t gotten into stamps, inks, and glitter but I just might after this.

  6. So lovely…good job. I’m going to have to get my stickers out now and see if I can do as well as you did (NOT!).

  7. How fun! I love glittery things but hate working with the stuff. Maybe you’ve given me some motivation to pull out those dozens of glitter tubes I have and give it a try! 🙂 LOL!

    Very pretty card, Darlene!

  8. Is there a way to use glitter on letters or the sentiments?A friend was wanting to know the other day. When I saw this card I thought you would be the perfect person to ask.
Very pretty card.I look forward to Wednesday just to see your creations.

Hi Lucinda, actually, there is a product called Heat and Stick powder. You stamp a sentiment with versamark ink, sprinkle heat and stick powder, then heat to set. While the sentiment is still hot, pour glitter over it and heat again. I used this powder on my Christmas card a few years ago. I showed it on a post HERE. Hope this helps!

  9. Such a pretty card! Thank you for the great tutorial.

    Ter 😉

  10. Darlene,

  12. Casey Thrush says:

I love the vertical stamps!! Do you happen to know if SU still sells the adhesive sheets??

This is a simple but beautiful card. Thanks for sharing it with us!

  13. Pretty card! BEAUTIFUL, sparkly butterflies! Thx for the video showing how you made them. 🙂

  14. I love this card! I didn’t think that the sticker would adhere to the glitter..that makes it easier! Thank you for the inspiration and technique ideas!

  15. Very pretty! I never would have thought to paint the stickles on for a more subtle effect. Love those stickers you used.

  16. Maria A. Rodriguez says:

Darlene, it’s me again: I forgot to ask you if you could possibly tell me the name of that fun stuff you used in one of your owl cards to make the trim puffy. I remember you have to heat it up or let it dry to make it puff up. Thank you.

  17. Maria A. Rodriguez says:

Hello Darlene: I love that big background stamp and the vertical sentiments are fabulous. Sometimes it’s just what you need to fit the sentiment perfectly. Love your butterflies and glitter, the only down side of glitter is that it gets everywhere and it sticks to your hands like crazy but the end result is always spectacular. Thank you for your videos, I absolutely love them all.

  18. Beautiful card. I watch for your videos every week. It’s nice you use other products than just Stamping up. Thank you. Can’t wait til next week.

  19. Super fun design, love all the glitter and shine.

    Regards diane
