OMGSH! This card is absolutely gorgeous! Thanks for the awesome tutorial….can’t wait to buy some of the pencils to try! Going to check out more of your tutorials!

  2. I was looking for an idea for a birthday card for a special friend and found your gorgeous card. Anything green and red catches my eye because it always looks so crisp and clear. I made one for her and one for my stash. Thanks for the great tutorial.

  3. I had to make this card immediately. I don’t have fabulous florets yet, so I used secret garden. I referenced you on my blog when posting my cards inspired by yours.

  4. This is beautiful Darlene. Such a pretty floral scene you have created.

  5. I absolutely love this card . I do not have those stamp sets , but I do have other flowers and will try it. Thank you for all your inspiration .

  6. This card is really pretty!

  7. Teresa R. says:

Love this beautiful card and I’m so excited because I have all 4 of those stamp sets! So, I’m off to CASE. Thank you for the beautiful inspiration. Now, if I just had some of those lovely Inktense pencils. 🙂

  8. Darlene, you’ve done it again!!!!
You just blow me away every time.
Yours is my favourite blog, and every time I see one of your creations I’m inspired to get up and start crafting.
Thanks so much for sharing your talent.
    Love from an Aussie fan.

  9. Joan Garlough says:

THANKS for the video. I have both stamp sets but never thought of combined them! I will be trying that and also I like the tiny splashes of ink on your background. This card is just stunning.

  10. You are just so darn gooooood!,,,,,

This is my first time stopping by. I really love this card. Poppies are one of my favorite flowers. I love how you used so many stamps to create this awesome card.

  12. Love the coloring on the flowers and leaves…..and the way you did the background is just perfect! This card turned out really beautifully!

  13. Margaret says:

Another great card and more great tips on using the Inktense pencils – nothing to stop me making this card as I’m happy to say I have everything you used!! YAY! Going to try on both watercolor and normal paper – wondering what the difference will be. Thanks for all your hard work again – I try so hard to come up with my own card ideas – but they never seem to work out!

Hello Darlene: I have the Fabulous Florets stamp set and I love it so much, I don’t have the Pleasant Poppies stamp but I have the one from Penny Black and it’s beautiful too. I love to water color and this stamps are just absolutely perfect for that, the Curly Cute stamp set I just received it last week, I don’t know why I procrastinated for so long to get it, it’s beautiful. I was very sorry to see so many beautiful stamp sets being retired and to be honest, the new stamps in the new catalog are not as pretty as the ones retiring. I guess it’s because I truly love to water color all of my images for my cards. I thank you for your video, as always, it’s so enjoyable, beautifully done and I can’t wait for next Wednesday to see what other wonder you have in store for us.

  15. Great video! I just rec’d the poppy stamp from SU (via your sister) and bought the pencils at Michael’s last week – so I’m good to go!

  16. I agree with everything that Gloria (above) said. You have a great way of showing your techniques besides having great artistic talent. I look forward to Wednesdays!

  17. Gloria Taylor says:

Hi Darlene, Wow another gorgeous card to copy from…I always look forward for Wednesday to see your email in my box. I am now getting into more stamping than any other tools/supplies for my cards any ocassions. I also love that you show us slowly certain techniques so we can remember how to do them, especially myself since I am finally getting the hang of it. I love that you use a variety of stamps from other brands which I have never thought of and now seeing yours I will have to do the same, thanks so much! Wishing tomorrow was next week so I can view the next creation, lol.

    Gloria

    Hi Darlene!
You know I am a big fan but seriously…I think this is one of my most favorites! I’m not quite sure what it is exactly but it is simply stunning! It may be the colored cardstock you decided to use today because honestly all of your cards are beautiful and gorgeous but this one kinda “sings” to me today!
I really look forward to Wednesdays because I know that you will have a new video to post for us. It really is the highlight of my week! Thanks for taking the time to do the work for all of us to learn and be inspire from!
    Have a blessed day,
    Valerie

Darlene, your blog just gets better and better. Love the clean look and your new Ask Me section. You always have the prettiest cards and the best videos. Combining these two sets is great, will have to try this. Don’t have the Inktense pencils yet, boohoo.

  23. Lynn W. says:

How absolutely wonderful! I love everything about this card so will definitely need to copy it. My mother loves any flower cards I make, so this one screams to be sent to her. TFS

Hi Darlene, very pretty card. I just might have to revisit this stamp set. When it was new I used it to death and got sick of it. I plan to stamp this Memorial Day so I will give a try again. Thanks for all your shares. I really enjoy your videos. Have a safe holiday weekend …. Lori

  25. Happy Wednesday everyone!!! I thought I would check Darlene’s blog to see if I could see the video sooner than it reaches my inbox, because Wednesdays are my new favorite day!!! I was watching the video and the post popped into my inbox! Great card AGAIN!!!! Gotta get Fab Florets! Haven’t tried the Inktense pencils yet, been concentrating on copics. They are challenging for me anyway. Have a blessed day and thanks again Darlene for sharing your amazing talent.

  26. Seriously beautiful. Thanks for the tips on the InkTense pencils. Works really well…by comparison, my last project using them was a major disaster.

  27. I have been waiting with anticipation! Very nice Darlene :-). It’s amazing how many different styles of cards you create with one stamp set. Hope you have a nice, relaxing holiday weekend. If you had stamp camps I would definitely sign up. I would fly from Michigan for a Mommy’s get away 🙂
