Love it! What is the stamping surface that you use? Thanks…Gina

  2. Gloria Taylor says:

Darlene, I love how you explain and show us how to create the cards you make. This one is absolutely awesome and can’t wait to create one myself. One thing I love about this card is how you showed us how to create different colors/shadings which I some times have a hard time trying to create myself. Thanks again and looking forward to the next one.

  3. What a great stamp set! I love it! and I have quite a few girlfriends who would love that sentiment on a card! LOL! Very cute card and fabulous coloring!

  4. Annie Kong says:

Hi Darlene, thanks for the inspiration of masking off the part of stamp which you do not want to stamp. I always looking forward to the packages to arrive and open to see the actual stuff… yes, you are right, its so much fun when you share with another person, I will do it the same with my 4 year old daughter next time. 🙂

  5. Margaret says:

Fabulous hints again on coloring – love how the hair turned out – although might buy stamps with ‘short haired girls’ – would make is so much easier for me.
Looking forward to seeing what you and Jill create on Friday – good luck!

  6. Totally love this card, I’m always in awe at your coloring technique Darlene, it’s such a treat to watch you make this cards. I also love getting packages in the mail and I get so happy opening them but it’s got to be such a treat to do that with your little daughter. The sentiment is so true, you need to see your glass half full always but, if you feel it’s half empty, a refill is always in order.
    Thank you

I just love your card videos. I save them so that I can watch during a time I’ll really be able to savor the whole video. I learn so much, and thanks you to I think I’m actually learning how to shadow. I just get mesmerized watching you color. Your story about unpacking your loot with your daughter was pretty precious, too. Thanks for sharing!!

  8. Anna Jernigan says:

OMGosh, I am so laughing about this whole card, and video. Let me explain: first I get the email alert: A Drink A Day, and I am thinking, “Yeah, NOW, she’s talking!” LOL Never quite knowing what to expect, then come here and it’s about a wine glass that a gal is holding. Okay, so that’s funny enough, but during your video, you refer to the stamped gal as “her”, and “she”, and that just struck me so funny, cuz, well, I do the very same thing when I’m making cards. I call my image, a “him” or a “her”, and talk about that even when showing the cards to my hubby. LOL Like isn’t “she” cute, and I added this or that to “him” or whatever…. He looks at me kind of weird, so now I know why. LOL It’s just so cute, Darlene, I had to share that. AND, how sweet of a relationship you must have with your girl. I love that you and she make a big fuss over the contents of your packages. I remember doing that with my Grandsons, they were toddlers, and I would bring home like a Pampered Chef order, and we would gather around and touch everything, and I would explain how it works, and they were in rapt full attention. Oh, how I loved those days. They all lived with us for a couple of years, so that was so fun, for me, Nana, right? LOL You are one terrific Mom, Darlene. All that and talented, too! TFS, I mean that, even all the other homelife stuff. It brings back good memories. Whew.
