Wow, so pretty. I have to admit, when you starting talking about Colorbox Ink, and I saw the card, without knowing anything else, I immediately thought..that woodgrain is stamped with Colorbox Ink? Once the video started, I knew that it wasn’t because you used embossing powder….but, that had me going there for a second! LOL I was thinking OMGosh, that is one really nice white ink. Whew! In reality, white inks are difficult to select. I have seen different favorites, by different designers, so in the end I think it’s personal trial and error. Loved how you used it straight to cardstock, to make the wood look on the card front! Really liked the woodgrain on the mat and I learned something. Duh, pencil mark the back so you know where you left off…then finish stamping….sheesh, I was using tape, and you name it, I swear some of the most simple things are always the best. LOL Duh, right? LOL

  4. Hello Darlene,

  8. Oh Darlene: Sorry I’m so late commenting on yesterday’s beautiful card, we were taking advantage of the gorgeous temperatures, (80s) to do more yard work. Anyway, I love the way the butterfly looks embossed in black, love the beautiful colors and that background is really awesome. This stamp set is a must have as well as the punch, I’m so happy they will carry this two items to the next catalog.
I can’t wait till Friday, to see what you and Jill come up with, I’m sure it will be spectacular.
