  1. Hi.
    This is a beautiful card.
How do you get it to dry flat. When my paper is wet, it usually dries curly.

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Hi Tammy, I find that letting the paper dry naturally, without the use of a heat gun, helps some. However, it’s still a little bit warped. But, that’s some of the charm in a handmade card, right? If it’s bad, you can always adhere that layer flat to another piece of cardstock, being sure to use adhesive all the way to the edge.

  2. Beautiful! You’re batting a 1,000 with this one ….. and using those spray inks looks like such fun with so many fun possibilities! Thanks for another wonderful video!

  3. Van Gryebet says:

    THANK YOU!!!

  4. Beautiful card. I love your videos. You have a great voice, too! Did you get the spray ink at amazon or elsewhere?

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Hi mtk107, I got the blue sprays at JoAnn’s, but you can purchase them online too if you local store doesn’t have them.

  5. Darlene, this card is amazing!! I love the colors of the fireworks sprays, and that stamp set is on my “gotta get” list. Thank you so much for all your hardwork and time. I learn so much from your videos! Keep up the great work!

  6. Kimberli Sarsfield says:

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! I love this card and the fun, shiny sprays with the mask over top! Beautiful!

  7. Beautiful work, as always. I enjoy your videos because I almost always learn about a new product or technique, and I get tons of inspiration. Thanks so much for sharing.

  8. Wonderful card! Love the butterflies (always a favorite of mine!) and the inks are spectacular! Do you know if local stores like JoAnn’s or Michael’s carry them?

  9. Great card! Thanks for reminding me that I have several sets of these Fireworks! LOL!! I had hidden them away a while back when I had to pack up some of my craft supplies so I need to get them out and try them. I love things that give a shimmer or sparkle to my cards!

  10. Van Gryebet says:

I’m surprised you didn’t use the Stamp a ma jig 😉
Did you happen to get my email about the ribbon?

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Hi Van – I know! It’s bothering me that it’s a bit crooked, lol!! And yes, I responded to you. Sorry for the delay. 🙂

  11. I recently bought some spray inks, it’s so much fun to play with. I die cut some letters to make the word Hello on masking paper, placed the letters on my card and sprayed it, love the result when I took off the masking paper. Also bought 2 stencils, it’s a lot of fun! Thanks for an inspiring video!

  12. Stunning card Darlene! Hard to imagine using sprays as the technique for the entire card. Sounds appealing to me.

  13. Holly Saveur says:

Great card love the shimmer too……
(I spray in an old box..with some ols paper inside mess on my desk.)

  14. Maria A. Rodriguez says:

Oh Darlene, this is just so beautiful!! I got to get me that stamp set and matching punch, I think it’s fabulous how it punches the image so perfectly.
I never heard of those spray paints, I think I’m going to go and take a look at them, thank you for this video, you really open a lot of possibilities to explore and expand our card making horizon. You are really something else!!
