You have helped me learn so much about shading with copic’s. Thank you so much.

  2. I’m amazed at your “poles” on this card. They look so cylindrical, it is hard to believe it is just flat, and the actual base card. WOW!!! You do wonderful work. No wonder teams are asking for you! I have been away from card making for over a year, but watching your videos is making me itch to get back to it. Thank you so much for all of your videos. You Rock!

  3. Hi Darlene,

I just wanted to let you know how much I love this card and the wonderful tutorial you provided. As soon as the video was over, I headed over to Amazon and purchased the stamp. I finally was able to breakout the copics yesterday and color her up. I had your video playing the whole time and kept pausing. I have to admit, I used the same color palette you used and pretty much copied you, but I just LOVED everything about your card; you are such an inspiration! This will be for my niece whose birthday is next week. Thanks for taking the time to share your talent with all of us. Hugs, Tina

  4. Mary Ann Huntington says:

Im really looking forward to work with you on the Faber-Castell team

  6. Hi Darlene!
OMG! Your card is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! You are so talented coloring with the Copics Markers! I really appreciate you showing on video your techniques…it’s helps me tremendously! THANK YOU! 🙂 BTW…Do you plan on sharing a Pumpkin Copic Coloring tutorial? It’ll be AWESOME if you do 😉 I’ve been trying to color pumpkins for my kids Halloween treats but I just can’t get it to look right 🙁 . I tried YouTube but…I really wanted to see how you would color them. Don’t worry if you’re not planning on doing any pumpkin videos….I’ll eventually get my pumpkins to look decent (hee, hee) Thanks again for all you do! 🙂

  7. Maureen Chandler says:

I really thought those poles were some cylindrical sticks before I read your post.

  9. Sorry, my name is ‘Sue’ not ‘Sur’

  10. Just two words – ‘absolutely beautiful ‘

  11. Loly Borda says:

See you next week, thanks for all you do for us.

  12. Darlene – beautiful card. It’s such a joy to watch you use the copics. Congrats on the Faber Casteel – I have some of their “gelatos” and am trying to figure out how to use them. Thanks again for another great Wednesday!

  13. PS Darlene have you done any work with Spectrum markers and if so how would you rate them? By the way. Love your new site Pass The Protein. Good luck with that venture. I am sure you will do well with it with your passion.

  16. Oh, Darlene…this card is so fabulous!! I can’t wait to try something like this. You are so talented. Loved the video and the result. Wow!

  17. What an AWESOME colorist that you are. Wish I had your talent for shading, Such a sweet card. Congrats on the Faber-Castell assignment.

  18. Congrats! All kinds I exciting things are happening in your life right now! You’ll rock the FC team! Your coloring-I don’t even know what to say-it looks printed for sure! It’s nice to find out how long it took for real! Sometimes sped up videos give the impression of easy/quick! Thanks for the video!

  19. Fabulous tutorial. I just have gotten into Copics and this is just so helpful for the novice! You make it look so easy. I think I press too hard as I get bleed…even when using Memento Ink and Neenah. Thanks for the comparisons of the two papers….I like the whiteness of the Neenah…isn’t the Copic paper a bit darker…or have a different cast to it?
Anyway, I always love seeing an email from you on Wednedays….a great start to my day!

  20. Barb Ghigliotty says:
