TGIF!!
I used one of my new Hero Arts stamp sets (from my scrap booty) to create this card. I thought about putting together a video on it, but man, it took me a long time to color that dog and cut him and that butterfly out. Talk about tedious!
I colored the dog using one Stampin’ Up! marker (Close to Cocoa) and a blender pen. Some of you out there who are my customers have these products – you can do it! It really wouldn’t have taken that long if I wasn’t a perfectionist.
I entered this card into an online content by Hero Arts. When I was looking through some of the other cards that were entered, I noticed this lovely card. Don’t you think it looks a tiny bit like this lovely card that I posted a month ago? I’m just saying.
Have a great day… I’ll be posting a new video tomorrow!
Darlene

Thanks for visiting my video blog! I post a new video every Wednesday and sometimes an extra when I have time.

What a cute card! luv it! I thought you had to use copics to get those kinda results. wow. it looks great. It’s a great testiment as to just what you can do with stampin up markers. What kinda paper did you stamp the dog on? Stamping up as well?
Thanks Amy!! I stamped the dog on Stampin’ Up! watercolor paper. It’s very thick and absorbs the moisture of the blender pen without getting wavy.
Darlene,
I posted a message on your flower card, I don’t know if you go back to them to read so thought I’d put a note here, I love your
dog card!
Oh how CUTE!
I love this card, such a cute doggie! What was the name of the set it came from? Amazing scrap booty, way to go!
Julia, it’s called Happy Day Animals by Hero Arts.
Cute doggie card, love the swirly words also. I looked at your card, and the “other” card, and talk about a dead ringer! Harrumph, I thought peeps would not do that, kinda a rip-off, isn’t it? Sheesh, at least try to change it up somewhat, right? Hope it didn’t win, then it would be sort of awful, wouldn’t it? Have YOU won lots of your entries? Hope so, they sure are winners, in MY book, unless they are those” random drawings”, then that’s not based on the quality of the card.
