So this is kind of a weird card for me. Don’t you think? Every time I look at it I just feel strange, like I didn’t create it. I’m not sure why – maybe too much cutting and punching and not enough inking? Not sure. But anyway, I actually really did create it!
I did way too much planning on camera, so sorry if it jumps around a little bit – I tried to edit all my thinking out!
I was asked to be a guest designer over at Lily Pad cards – I’m so excited! I’ve already created the cards for them – I cranked them all out this weekend because I was so pumped about it. I seriously love these cards, but I can’t show them to you! I’m so bummed that I can’t share. 
I’ll let you know when they have me scheduled.

That was very nice, I have die cut flowers that are hardly used….so there! It is very pretty and I love the colours!

Different but still great!! I love that you make me want to take out stamp sets and dies that I haven’t used in ages (or at all!) and make something with them. Can’t wait to see the cards you created for Lily Pad!! Thanks again!

Sometimes its nice to step out of the box, loved your colors and the card came out beautifully. Can’t wait to see your cards for Lily Pad, how cool is that. Also was so glad to once again get an email telling me you had created a new card…..LOL.

Loved this card. And I so appreciate the back and forth and “corrections” you make – makes me feel so much better as I do this a lot!! I love the idea of using the punch for the border. How do you think of these things? You are a genius. Can’t wait to see your cards on the Lily Pad site. I have to tell you Darlene, I watch a lot of card videos on other sites and yours are by far the best. Seriously, your way of doing things and showing us your talents is amazing. I really like this card. I think you did a great job making the flower pot. I think I will try making it for one of my cards. I don’t have the dies to cut the flowers but I have other ways of making pretty flowers.

Love your idea for the stem and also the embossing of the brown cardstock to add texture to the pot. So often I think a die-cut needs something and never know what so this has given me food for thought.
