Good Morning All!!
Hope you’re having a great week! This week’s card was actually pretty simple to make – not too many steps at all. I created the background using the kissing technique, where you ink up two stamps with different colors and then kiss them together before stamping on paper.
You’ll notice that I finished off my card with a black sentiment. After I turned off the camera and cleaned up, it just kept bothering me. I really didn’t like it at all. That night, I couldn’t stand it anymore. I went back into my craft room and put some Versamark over it and added white embossing powder. Because I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig, it was really easy to re-do the sentiment. I felt so much better after that fix, lol!
I’ve received quite a few emails from people saying they are not receiving emails anymore when I make a post. I upgraded the software I use after last week’s post, so I’m hoping that solves the problem. If not, I’ll start looking into different software. Sorry about that!
One more thing – I’ve been trying to find a shopping site to send you to that has decent prices AND the vast majority of products I use. Well, I have found Scrapbook.com to be pretty good. They seem to have a bunch of the products I am using, plus their prices are pretty good. So, I signed up to be an affiliate for them. What does that mean? It means that if you link to their site using the URL’s in my supply list, I get a small portion of the sale. Sorry for all the back-and-forth on my links. I’m still trying to figure it out!
