  1. This turned out so beautifully! And love the reasons why you chose to do the colors and sentiment that way.

  2. Awesome Christmas card!! I was thinking from last year..hmm…might start making 2 cards a week so I dont get all bogged down and frustrated in September! Well…yea. that hasn’t happened yet! I am finding other things to make ….but I love this idea!! Well done!

  3. Darlene,
Finallygot to my emails tonight. What a lovely card. the colors are wonderful. What is the tape dispenser called that you use and where can I get one? I seem to go through so much of it!

Have a great weekend. And thanks for your gift of cardmaking. You inspire!

  4. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! I love Wednesdays! Thanks for more inspiration!

  5. can you do that with stampin up ink?

  6. So beautiful. Love how you made the sentiment sparkle..Really lovely.

  7. Wow! Love that card. So glad you are able to use the distress inks again, lol.

  8. Beautiful card! Loved reading your explanation of the colors. Also tried to find Owl Christmas set, but all that came up was an Owl stamp. Does the stamp go by a different name maybe?
    Thanks so much.

  9. What a lovely card design! Thank you for demonstrating this technique.

  10. Love the card! Thank you for sharing, Have a Great and Peaceful Christmas.

  11. Absolutely beautiful! Thanks for showing the whole technique for making a card like this. You’re the greatest! Merry Christmas, Darlene!

  12. #1 I really appreciate the way you share your “tools”! The layout is excellent for us list type people.

#2 Another new way to use distress inks is always great. I use the emboss resist now. Have been a bit anxious about adding the liquid. But I shall try.

Thank you again for a very well done video: clear, to the point and well organized.

  13. Beautiful as always, Darlene! This is the first time I actually “understood” the emboss resist technique!! Keep up the beautiful work and Merry Christmas!

  14. So lovely Darlene ! J’adore ! I love it !!!
Very inspiring as always. I don’t have the “dazzling details” but I do have some glitter (clear with sparkles) embossing powder. I should try with that. I just received today my Inkadinkado snowflakes clear stamps and my Hero Arts flourish florentine background ! YooHoo ! Sleeves up ! (though it’s a bit cold !)
    Hugs !

  15. I love the card! It is beautiful, and you do such a great job explaining the truth behind why you chose the colors, and even the order of the colors. I am definitely going to try this card. BEAUTIFUL.

    Merry Christmas to you.

Beautiful card!! I think its great that you are using various color combos for a Christmas card. I wish all of you a Merry Christmas!

  17. Gorgeous – see I saw the snowflakes as ‘stars’ in the sky verses snow in this case!

  18. My tree is Purple and Silver. I’ve always loved purple and swore that when I finally had a house that I would decorate using purple and silver at Christmas. It is so pretty!
