It’s Wednesday again!!
I was in the mood for something fun this week. I love to use cupcakes for birthday cards and I LOVE to use polka dots on birthday cards. Not sure what it is about polka dots – they just make you feel good. However, I did realize that I don’t have enough cupcake stamps. I need to buy some new ones… ah! A reason to place another scrap booty order!!
Anyway, I used the Marvy liquid applique again, this time in pink. Isn’t it so cool? I used it on this very same cupcake awhile back. This time I added some glass glitter from Stampin’ Up!. It’s very chunky, so it made a nice cupcake sprinkle. You need to sprinkle before you heat it up or it won’t stick.
Enjoy!
SONG: “Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough” by Michael Jackson. I know he’s controversial, but I LOVE MJ music. I include at least one song in every Zumba class I teach. It just makes you want to move, doesn’t it?
Is the video blocked in your country due to music rights? You can see an audio-swapped version here.

Thanks for visiting my video blog! I post a new video every Wednesday and sometimes an extra when I have time.

I have to say this icing is one of my favs! I love the way it comes out and gives the card that finishing touch.
Darlene I love watching your videos. I wish we coud have more. I am surprised that most of the stamps you use I already have so I go back and do one similar to yours. This is a great card and I can’t wait to see the next one.
I love that pink liquid applique. I’m glad to say it’s also available over here, I always get frustrated when products are used which I cannot buy. I love the card.
Eveline.
Super duper cute card, Darlene! I love the fun colors and the dimension that you added to the cupcake. So Adorable! Oh, btw… Congrats on being featured on Jill’s blog!!!
Great card! I usually use a baby wipe to get the ink off the embossing (I keep a bin with baby wipes in my craft room). ;D
Wow Darlene! Just found your blog since one of your cards was featured on the Hero Arts blog! Your work is really amazingly fun and beautiful, love it! Thank you also for the inspirational and very useful video’s!
xxDebbie
P.S. This cute cupcake card really is adorable, love the foamy pink!
Wonderful creation, Darlene! Just as all of your cards are
Where do you buy Marvy Liquid Applique? I looked at Michaels and JoAnn, but couldn’t find it.
Thank you Julia! I bought the Marvy Liquid at a rubber stamping convention in town. If you have a specialty scrapbook store near you, try there. Otherwise, I would search for it online.
