    hi darlene,
i just love the owl punch! and all the cards you have used it on! birthdays, and christmas and more! i have been trying to purchase it from SU for a while now, and the website never works for me. any idea how i can get my hands on this punch?

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Karen – after seeing you are in Canada, I did a little research. I was surprised to find out that no one outside of the US can buy from me. 🙁 So, you’ll need to go to the Stampin’ Up! Canada site HERE. You can click “Find a Demonstrator” to see if there is someone who is close to you, then use that person’s name to get the preferred pricing on your order.

  6. Darlene, This is the cutest card. I just love the owl punch. That little guy is so versatile. I also loved your music. Such an upbeat christmas carol. Who is the artist?

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Diana – thanks for the comment! The song is from YouTube because I didn’t have a holiday song the right length. The artist is The Garagista All Stars. Happy Holiday!

  7. So cute, I love that little owl. Tell your kids Merry Christmas from Australia 🙂

  8. Hi Darlene,

Your card always inspire me, and I can always pick up new card making technique from your blogs. I always look forward to your videos each Wed (my Thursday morning), sometime i even check your blog my Wednesday night. Thank You for sharing!

  12. Teresa Harvey-Jackson says:

Darlene – This card is simply adorable. Where can I get the Mystic Fire embossing powder? Thanks

    • Darlene DeVries says:

Teresa – I bought the mystic fire at a small stamping convention over the summer. I searched the vendor on line and couldn’t find anything. You could purchase Stampin’ Up!’s Iridescent Ice embossing powder HERE… it is comparable.

Pam – There isn’t a huge difference between the regular Versamark and the Dazzle Versamark. When you heat emboss with powder, there is no difference. However, when you just do tone-on-tone stamping, there is a little shimmer to the Dazzle version. I bought it at JoAnn’s.

  13. Darlene- my new friend! Of course this is adorable! I love the idea, and how you created everything! As I have told you before, You are someone I aspire to, and look forward to your videos each Wed. Thank you for sharing!!

  14. You are SO creative!
I love how you made the snow hill and also how you designed the owl’s “Santa suit” and the hat. Sooo cute!!! I loved it! 🙂
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!!!

  15. Darlene,

What a hootin’ cute card! I didn’t know there was a VersaMark Dazzle Ink. Can you tell me what you use this for and what’s the difference from SU! VersaMark watermark pad. Where can you get this VersaMark Dazzle Ink? Thanks for sharing your awesome cards with video!
